ACHIEVEMENTS

When he became the principal of Petit Seminaire School, Pondicherry (December 1984), there were 3500 students and when he was leaving the school the strength was increased to 6100.

He produced 100% results quite a few times both in Matriculation and higher Secondary. The school got the First few Ranks consistently in the Pondicherry State. It became the number one school in spots and games also.

It was judged as the best institution in sports and games consecutively for many years in the region of Pondicherry.

By his efforts, in JIPMER Medical College out of 17 seats 8 seats are given to the petit Seminaire Students.

He was the first person who introduced Computers among Pondicherry Schools. Payroll, Fee collection, Rank Card, Transfer Certificate, Processing of Result, Publication of Result etc., were fully computerized by him.

He organized all private schools and became the first Secretary of it. After 15 years of struggle he got Pension, Family Pension, Gratuity and Medical Allowances for the Private school Teachers.

He started the Archdiocesan Coaching Center for Professional Courses in 1984. In this effort he got an outstanding success.

He was the secretary of education from the inception of the Board, excepting the years he was abroad for studies. In 1983, the Diocesan Education Committee, the forerunner of Archdiocesan Education Committee, was formed. He was the Secretary then. In 1992, the Board was formed and he became the Secretary too.

In 1986, by his efforts Pope John Paul II college of Education was started. First year itself it was given the permanent affiliation by the Pondicherry University.

After taking charge as the Principal, simultaneously he started the Pope John Paul II School for Excellence for IELTS/TOEFL/GRE/CAT (MBA)/IAS and NET coaching classes in the college.
