FEATURES OF CURRENT SYLLABI - BACHELOR OF EDUCATION

The syllabi of Bachelor of Education (Non-Semester- One Year) are based on the implementation of theory and practical. The theory part consists of,

1. Response to Challenges in Education
2. Learning for Human development
3. Evaluation, Elements of Statistics and Research
4. Electives-based on their first and second optional.
5. Teaching of subjects and Language.

The choice of the optional is depending on the candidate's basic Degree.
The Practical part consists of practice teaching based on their choice of optional and also with the preparation of Records based on:

1. Preparation and Use of Instructional Aids
2. Practical Use of Audio Visual Apparatus for a lesson in each optional
3. Construction of test and interpretation of scores
4. Microteaching
5. Case study
6. Physical Education and
7. Socially useful productive work

The Present Syllabi almost meets the needs of the Society and is approved by the Pondicherry University. Some of the changes and modifications in the syllabi have been made for the following Subjects:
