VISION

The teacher education programmes, which we provide at all levels, seek to develop in the trainees, knowledge without frontiers, understanding without prejudice and professional competencies without lacuna.
We have committed ourselves to promote value - oriented education contributing to unity and integrity of people and to implement innovative strategies to ensure effectiveness of the programmes. The academic, professional and co-curricular activities are organized in such a way that they may enable our trainees to pursue their higher studies in foreign universities as well.

The quintessence of our teacher education programmes is "Quality". Such a sublime mission, we believe, will widen the mental horizon, develop generosity, inculcate values, perfect professional and life skills, elevate the soul, and benefit the nation. We undertake several steps to improve the quality of teacher education programmes.

MOTTO

The motto of the College "Let Your Light Shine" is, at the same time the directive to the trainees to enlighten students and the community.

SPECIAL FEATURES

• The only private College in Pondicherry Accredidated with "A" Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

• Our College is the oldest Colege in the Union Territory of Pondicherry, inaugurated in the year 1986.

• Our College was twin born with the Pondicherry University.It is the first Private College to be permanently affiliated to the Pondicherry University.

• This is the only College of Education in India, which offers French as one of the optional in its curriculum.

• The College has been certified as a study centre by IGNOU for conducting two-year B.Ed., programme.
